Award-winning composer/music historian John Warthen Struble demonstrates the  Music Rm.
fundamentals of musical composition in six sessions devoted to melody, harmony, rhythm, writing for more than one voice and 
arranging for instruments. Using models from familiar songs, students will develop their own composition by the end of the
course.  Limited to 10 students.  Prerequisite: Some ability to read basic musical notation and basic ability to play an instrument.

Pastels are a wonderful medium to work with, first mentioned by daVinci in 1495. They are a refreshing and enjoyable 
approach to creating art.  This class will introduce the basic pastel mediums that are available, as well as touch on a few 
pastel "painting" and "drawing " techniques that you can explore, develop, and incorporate into your own individual art.
A supply list will be provided after registering.   No class April 30.

size quilt in Trip Around the World pattern.  Join the quilting craze with this low key, no stress class.  Knowledge of your
