LOCATION - From Portsmouth, to get to Berlin take Route 16 North, From Burlington to Berlin, take Route 2 East until you get to Route 16. Then you take Route 16 North. From Portland to Berlin, take Route 302 West. Then you'll get on to Route 16. Go Route 16 North the rest of the way. Berlin is in Coos County.
GEOGRAPHICAL FEATURES - The White Mountains are famous because they're the tallest mountains in the New Hampshire.
TOURIST ATTRACTIONS -There are nearby nature trails for hiking and lots of ski lodges like Wildcat, Mt. Washington, Tuckerman's Ravine, and Lion Head.

POPULATION - - The population of Berlin is about 11,000 right now.
BUSINESSES - There are two really big businesses in Berlin. They are called Berlin Water Works and Berlin Falls Mill. The Berlin Water Works is 55 years old. It was built in 1943. The Berlin Falls Mill is 176 years old. It was built in 1826.
HISTORY - The Holiday Center was built in 1904. The Holiday Center was originally the City National Bank.
The Princess Theater was established in 1914 by a group of businessmen. It was designed to be a moving picture house for Paramount movies.
Burgess Fountain was built in 1905 in memory of George Ebenezer Burgess. It was used for watering trough for horses in Green Square.
The Berlin City Bank was built between 1926 and 1927.
Berlin has worked on keeping old buildings from the 1700s and 1800s looking new by rebuilding them so they look like they were just built.
