"Don't fire until you see the whites of their eyes!"

Colonial William Prescott,

June 17, 1775

Ready for an Adventure?

Soon we will make our annual trek to Boston. In order to make the most of our time in the city, we need some background information. Part of our first day will be spent exploring The Freedom Trail. We are fortunate to be able to see firsthand some of the places where the fight for our country's freedom began. Sit back, read, relax, and travel back in time. Can you hear the cannons and the hoofbeats? How many lanterns do you see hanging in The Old North Church? Where was Paul Revere, anyway, when he looked for the famous signal? We'll find out all that and more!

Then we're off for the culinary delights of Faneuil Hall. What are you in the mood for - seafood, pizza, Thai, ice cream? It can be hard to choose!

Have you been on a subway? Can you read the map? We'll practice before we get there.

Last, but certainly not least, off to the museum for a full schedule of activities! We'll explore the musuem a bit online before we get the chance to do it in person.
