Who Are We
Knightly News is produced by the Writing and Journalism students of Kingswood
Regional High School in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire. Knightly News comes to you
via several media:
• our website, Knightly News on the Web;
• our newspaper, Knightly News Monthly;
• our news bulletin, Knight Life;
• our radio news service, Knightly News Radio, aired on 1420 WASR-AM;
• and our television news service, Knightly News Television, soon to
be aired on Channel 26 in the Wolfeboro area.
We cover stories about the world we live in. Usually, our focus is pretty close to home, concentrating on school and regional news. Occasionally, though, our world view is a bit more expansive, especially when issues of global importance parade across our front porch.
When we’re at our best, we connect the personal lives of Kingswood students to the world at large. For example, when Kingswood students Rock the Vote, getting together to register to vote, learn about candidates, and have a rocking good time, they’re part of the New Hampshire tradition of framing the election of the leader of the most powerful nation in the world.
