Set columns to 3. Rows stay at 1.

7. Insert Menu-Insert 1 page-Okay This creates page 1 and page 2 tabs at the bottom of the page. Page 1 is the outside of your brochure. Page 2 is the inside.

8. Save and name your brochure..

You have just made a template for your brochure.


Refer to the example template for the correct location of your pages (i.e. Front Cover, Back Pages, Inside Pages, etc.) Take particular note of the position of the front cover. It is the right-hand panel of the page 1.

All pages of the brochure should have pictures and text. See mock layout.

You must have a minimum of three information research sources for your bibliography. These must be listed on your brochure. You must also give credit for any photographs used. This should be in small print under or beside the picture itself.

Do not use more than two different font types in you brochure. All fonts should be easy to read and not be overly fancy.

Print brochures in black and white for the teacher to check before you print double sides on the color printer. Make sure there are no misspellings and that all text is in your own words. All text and images should fit on the brochure and should not be partially spilling off the page.
