The Western Rat is reviled as little more than a bottom-dwelling disease carrier, this animal is viewed much different in the East. The Eastern raty is revered for it's quick wits and it's ability to aquire and hold on to valuable items.

Rats are considered a sign of good luck and weath in China and Japan.

The rat flaunts it's style at every turn. It's natural charm and sharp, funny demeanor makes it an appealing friend to almost anyone. The rat likes to know who is on it's side and will treat it's most loyal friends with an extra measure of protection and generosity.

But behind the sweet smile, rats are keen and unapologetic prometers of their own agendas.
A valuble lesson for the rat to learn is to consider others above themselves, at least once in a wile. If they can develope their sense of self and realize it, leave room for others in their life as well, Rats could find true happiness. Rats enjoy being outside looking in, as the outside affords a view into the inner working of a system or situation.
