Architecture in Italy is very unique. Most of Italy's
buildings are made of: stucco, marble, stone, and clay. Stucco is a
clay like cement usually colored and used for the outside of buildings.
Italians paint most of their buildings with bright colors. The roofs
are mostly made of red
clay tile. Italians rarely knock-down buildings and build new ones,
instead they keep the old buildings and build new ones around the old
buildings. That is why so many people travel to Italy. To see the
classical architecture that has been preserved for centurys.

Germany also has interesting architecture, like Italy, Germans build their buildings with stucco,
brick,
stone, and clay. Most of the buildings in Germany were built in the
1600's-1800's. Germany's buildings have
exquisite detail and their castles are built at breath-taking heights.
Germany has many enormous
castles and palaces that re tell what the past was like. |

Italians always put a lot of time and effort into building these
amazing structures. It takes years for Italian builders to carve all
the
moldings and archways.
