Middle School dances are sponsored by teams and clubs and are for middle school students only. Most dances are held from 6:00- 9:00PM, but times may change during the winter months. While you are at a dance, all rules of the school's Code of Conduct are in effect. Administration may prohibit attendance to dances, field trips, assemblies, etc. due to misbehavior.
Dance Rules:
1) Only Kingswood 7th & 8th graders who have been in attendance at school the day of the dance are permitted to attend.
2) You may bring a guest only if he/she is a 7th or 8th grader and you must have obtained permission from the principal 24 hours before the day of the dance.
3) There is a small fee for bus transportation to and from the dance. It must be paid when you arrive at the dance. The Ossipee bus stops at Ossipee Town Hall (5:30PM) and Moulton's Store (5:40PM). The New Durham bus stops at the New Durham School (5:30PM).
4) If you are dropped off early, you must wait just outside the front door.
You must stay in a designated area of the dance.
5) All refreshments must be purchased at school and consumed within the designated area. No food or drink may be brought when coming onto school property.
6) Student may not take part in or observe any school activity on the day of ISS. Student will not be allowed to attend the next dance if it occurs within a 30-day period. The assistant principal before the dance will notify you.
7) You may not leave the dance early without a written note from your parents. An adult must come inside to get you.
