Snowmobiling has come from only work sleds to racing, trail and jumping sleds. The racing sleds are the basic body of a trail sled but it has a much more powerful engine. A trail sled is built for endurance and low maintenance. (While the jumping sleds are light and fast, most are equipped with pressurized seats so if and when the rider falls off the sled shuts down.) They do still have some work sleds but they are heavy, need a lot of maintenance, and are very rare.
