The
tubes have a circle in the middle for you to sit. A handle on either
side of the tube and a rope with a loop on the end of it so it can
hook onto the tow-rope. It is covered with a cover that is water
proof and very heavy duty. There are many different kind of tubes.
They all have different kinds of designs on them, and a variety of
different colors. People of all ages could go tubing. It's something
safe to do and to have a really fun time doing. When
you snow tube you will go up the tow-rope and you sit down in the
tube. The worker will put the rubber ring onto the tow-rope. You will
be going up the mountain. When you get on the top of the mountain
you have to stand up from your tube. You can either go with a group
of people down the hill or go alone. The workers will either spin you
or just give you a push down. On the way down there will be a little
hill with mats on them, so they will slow you down. And then you get
up from the tube and drag it over to the tow-rope and repeat the
steps over and over again. Sleds
originally were an important transportation tool. Flexible Flyers are
the most often recognized brand of sled. A sled, sledge or sleigh is a
vehicle with runners for sliding instead of wheels for rolling. It is
used for transport on usually snow or ice
but any grassy surface is good when it is not too dry. Devices to
be pulled across bare ground, such as a travois, are not generally
called "sleds", although skids often are. Modern competitive
sledding has been around since about the 1870s when steerable sleds
were
invented.
There are many of different types of sleds. Some of them are: baby sleds, high-performance sleds, kick sleds, plastic snow sleds, saucer snow sleds, sleds with brakes, snow tubes, specialty sleds, steerable sleds, toboggans and wooden sleds. If you want to go have fun and not spend alot of money on it then snow sledding is the activity to do.
